Life in Black and White: South African ex-pat on Mandela - Nottingham
As Nelson Mandela spends his third week in hospital with a recurring lung infection, South Africans black and white are united in their wishes for the former President and anti-apartheid leader.
Claudette Jarvis lives in Nottingham, but was born and brought up under the apartheid regime, living in an all-white area and educated in an all-white school.
But while her own life has moved to an integrated one abroad, she reveals her shock over some of the views still held by relatives of her own.
