Peter Day meets philanthropist Simon Berry, who has come up with an ingenious idea to deliver diarrhoea treatments to remote villages attached to soft drink crates. Diarrhoea kills more children than HIV/Aids, malaria and measles combined. Peter Day describes the value chain of the treatment, which allows small profit margins for the manufacturer, the distributors and the shopkeepers, through piggybacking on the ubiquitous supply of commercial soft drinks.
