MPs campaign for garment factory conditions in Bangladesh
The Conservative MP for St. Albans is leading a campaign to improve garment factory conditions in Bangladesh. The All Party Parliamentary Group, that is chaired by Anne Main, has just commissioned a report. It鈥檚 expected to be completed by late September.
It's to prevent a repeat of the Rana Plaza disaster which killed over a 1000 people. Primark, Tesco and Marks and Spencer are among 20 retailers that met ministers last week to discuss the issue.
