On the 6th September 2010, former Middlesbrough footballer Gary Parkinson suffered a stroke.
It left him with 鈥渓ocked in syndrome鈥�, a condition where he is awake and aware, but cannot move due to complete paralysis. The only way he can communicate is by blinking.
Now, for the first time, his family have agreed to speak about their ordeal from their family home. And Ali Brownlee is the first journalist to spend time with them and Gary.
