It's fifty years since the Great Train Robbery and Perry chats with a man from Crewe whose life could have gone very differently if he'd been on shift that day. Bill Andrews should have been the train's 'second man' but his shift was changed at the last minute meaning Jack Mills and David Whitby, both also from Crewe, were on the train instead. Jack and David both suffered trauma from the robbery - Jack was struck round the head with a metal bar - and both had died within ten years.
