Are Urgent Care Centres The Answer To The A&E Crisis?

Corby's new Urgent Care Centre is one way patients are being diverted from A&E in Kettering. The Wellingborough MP Peter Bone wants an Urgent Care Centre in Wellingborough.

Doctors and Managers at the Urgent Care Centre in Corby say the Centre is relieving pressure on the Accident and Emergency Department at Kettering General Hospital and still has plenty of spare capacity.

Wellingborough MP Peter Bone says a new urgent care centre should be built at the town's Isebrook Hospital, but it's unclear whether the local Clinical Commissioning Group has plans to do so.

Reporter Martin Borley describes the work of the Urgent Care Centre in Corby and meets the staff there. Stuart talks to MP Peter Bone.
