Walk To Freedom...from Drugs and Crime - 3CR
A former criminal whose addiction to heroin and crack cocaine nearly destroyed his life, is now helping other addicts in Luton turn their lives around.
Mark Clarke set up the Walk To Freedom project in 2010, inspired by the words of his late and dearly loved mother: "If you can elevate yourself above your situation, you then can see hope and freedom."
His organisation now runs a drug and alcohol dependency support programme as well as personal development workshops for young people.
In this clip, Mark tells Nesta McGregor that he even stole from his own family to pay for his drug habit.
