Mentor scheme improves work skills of graduates in Bedfordshire

The University of Bedfordshire is taking steps to improve the employability of their Black and Minority Ethnic undergraduate students.
It's teamed up with the National Mentoring Consortium whose patrons include the former newsreader Sir Trevor McDonald.
The consortium has grown to include over 300 employers and 15 universities across the UK following a pilot scheme at the University of East London.
In this clip Trevor Sinclair, a mature student and the University's Access Partnership Lead Officer, tells Nesta McGregor it's about understanding what the world of work entails.
