Traditional Suri life in Ethiopia
An exploration of the rituals used amongst Suri tribe women in Ethiopia when they reach adulthood. Most women have their bottom teeth removed and their bottom lip stretched in order to insert a clay lip plate. This is done to calculate their worth - the bigger the plate the higher the value.
