Sting Heads for Broadway
'I describe it as projectile vomiting' - Sting on writing his new album The Last Ship
Sting comes into the studio to sing a song from his new album and (soon-to-be) Broadway musical based on his experience of growing up by the shipyards. Pulitzer prize-winning novelist, Jhumpa Lahiri, reveals the shocking inspiration for her latest book The Lowland. Comedian and actor Billy Crystal owns up to falling asleep in the theatre. Composer Neil Brand describes how one of the greatest writers of 20th Century film scores - Bernard Herrmann - fell out with Hitchcock but went on to write a brooding and beautiful piece for Scorsese. Also, why actress Naomi Watts has an uncomfortable time promoting her latest film Diana, and Nigerian film director Obi Emelonye explains how his hit movie Last Flight to Abuja, paves the way for Nollywood to go global.
