Its 6 years 2 months since Tom stopped drinking. He talks to partner Zoe about how his drinking and recovery have affected family life. Tom and Zoe have been together for 12 years - they have two children 9 Orla and Oliver 7. Tom also has two older sons from a previous relationship but only stopped drinking after the birth of his youngest son. Zoe stood by him though as he fought to kick the booze - which he did by taking up running. He's completed some mammoth challenges, he ran coast to coast across America last year - but the bigger challenge is building a "normal" life for their family.
