Former SA Minister: "Blinded" to apartheid injustices
Roelof Botha, nicknamed 'Pik', who was South Africa's last Foreign Minister of the apartheid regime, speaks about the mistakes of the regime and Nelson Mandela.
Mr Botha, who is 82, said Nelson Mandela's legacy is that he went "in a new direction":
"As he exulted, there are times when a leader must move out ahead of his flock and go off in a new direction on condition that he is confident that he is reading his people the right way, even if at first it seems unpopuler."
