Nigerian, gay and proud
The Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan, has signed into law a bill that criminalises same-sex marriage, gay clubs and even indirect displays of affection, with penalties of up to 14 years in prison. In this extract Bisi Alimi, a British based Nigerian gay rights activist, talks to the 大象传媒's Kevin Philemon about the impact of the new law.
