Following the death of US folk singer Pete Seeger, we ask if music can ever change anything.
Seeger, who was also an activist died at the age of 94 in New York and was blacklisted by the US Government in the 1950s for his leftist stance. His music had a lasting effect and other protest artists such as Joan Baez and Pearl Jam鈥檚 Eddie Vedder. In 2006, Bruce Springsteen recorded an album of songs originally recorded by Seeger.
