Gardening phone-in and freak weather

A look back at extreme weather of days gone by, such as the snows of '48 and '63, or the summer of 1976.

Terry's guest expert in the gardening hour is author, teacher and garden designer Jenny Hendy. As we experience an unprecedented period of rain, we ask what memories do you have of unusual weather? For instance the winters of 1948 and 1963 or the hot summer of 1976.

We'll also hear about a new book of photos, depicting the recent history of Wolstanton and May Bank, while Den Siegertsz and historian Fred Hughes uncover some fascinating stories from the town of Stoke.
