"Tidal wave" of cancer sweeping the globe

The World Health Organisation has warned of a "tidal wave" of cancer sweeping the globe. Fourteen million people are told they have cancer each year, but that figure is expected to soar to twenty-four million within two decades. Leading the public health agency to call for fresh efforts to tackle obesity, drinking and smoking. So what are the implications for black communities? In this extract, Rose Thompson from BME Cancer Communities, a group specialising in the support, development and delivery of cancer services for ethnic minorities, speaks to the 大象传媒's Mark Dean.
