Nottingham actor bags lead role in Benjamin Zephaniah's new play
An actor from Nottingham is playing a lead role in a new play by one of Britain's leading poets. Benjamin Zephaniah's novel Refugee Boy has been adapted for the stage and tells the story of an East African teenager who becomes a refugee overnight. In this extract, the 大象传媒's Reya El-Salahi meets Andre Squire, who plays the role of the boy's father.
