Imam urges union membership
An Imam in Scotland says religious leaders should join trade unions to avoid being exploited. Muhammad Sajjad Asim says many Imams are not paid the minimum wage and are treated like slaves. Since taking legal action against his former employer - Edinburgh Central Mosque - he has supported his family by running a taxi firm. He says he worries that other Imams, especially those who come from abroad, are being mistreated by their employers. Bill Mostyn met him.
