Caribbean leaders push for slavery reparations
Members of Caricom, the Caribbean鈥檚 political and economic body, are meeting on 10 March to co-ordinate their campaign for compensation payments against former slave owning nations. Martyn Day is the British lawyer representing Caricom's claim and Sir Hilary Beckles the chairman of Caricom and a professor of history at the University of the West Indies.
