Ym mhwll Cynheidre yng Nghwm Gwendraeth penderfynodd carfan o'r glowyr groesi'r llinell biced a dychwelyd i'r gwaith. I nifer oedd yn gefnogol i'r streic roedd hynny'n anfaddeuol. Datblygodd rhaniadau dwfn mewn cymuned a arferai fod yn un clos. Mewn rhaglen arbennig gyda Garry Owen, mae cefnogwyr y streic a'r rheiny wnaeth ei thorri yn siarad yn gignoeth a'n dweud fod creithiau 1984 heb ddiflannu.30 years after a long and bitter dispute, the scars of the Miners' Strike remain in one South Wales community. At the Cynheidre mine in the Gwendraeth Valley a group of miners decided to cross the picket line and return to work. In the eyes of those who supported the strike it was an unforgiveable act. Deep divisions grew in a previously close community. In a special programme presented by Garry Owen, those who supported the dispute and the so-called 'scabs' who broke it speak openly about their feelings and tell how the scars of 1984 still haven't healed.
