A crash course in West African pidgin
Finding a common African language has been the subject of discussion for years across the continent. In Nigeria there was a move to create a language like an African version of Esperanto but it never got off the ground. But there's another language that was born out of necessity that crosses the boundaries of West African countries and that is pidgin.
