Vladimir Putin has signed a law formalising Russia's annexation of Crimea, as European leaders placed new sanctions on political and business figures said to be close to the Russian president. We ask whether the Russians will brush these off as easily as they did the first set of sanctions - and what longer term damage there could be to trade between Europe and Russia.
