This Saturday is exactly 60 years to the day, since Bill Haley & The Comets recorded 鈥淩ock Around The Clock鈥�, which created a seismic shift in popular music and started the Rock 'n' Roll revolution. Geoff marks this with a special documentary telling the story of the song, how it was recorded and the massive impact it had at the time. Including archive interviews from Bill Haley, original members of The Comets who played on the recording and British musicians who heard it first time around 鈥� Joe Brown, Marty Wilde, Georgie Fame and Bill Wyman. Also the unique memories of Rock 'n' Roller Rory Blackwell who had Britain鈥檚 first rock 'n' roll band and was the first to welcome Bill and the Comets to the UK when they toured here in early 1957.
