The simple phone that could teach Afghans to read

About 75% of adults in Afghanistan are illiterate.

To help improve literacy, the country's ministry of education has distributed 5,000 laptops to schools in Kabul and other areas for the One Laptop Per Child project, but with so many people to teach other options will also be required.
