The gents of the Plaster Down Flying Club have been using the spot 2 days a week since the early 90s. But when they applied for a permanent license from Dartmoor National Park in December - locals and farmers objected accusing them of terrifying walkers and animals. Now they're only allowed to fly battery powered planes - but the ban's driven some out of the hobby and its breaking up the club.
