The South Western Ambulance Trust will have to compete with private companies if it wants to continue to run the NHS 111 service in Somerset in the future. 拢20 million is set to be spent on the redevelopment of Chard town centre and the medicines watchdog for England and Wales says a new drug to treat breast cancer that was trialled at the Royal United Hospital in Bath is too expensive for the NHS.
