Do teenagers need lessons in how to speak properly?
Tony Blair鈥檚 former speechwriter, Peter Hyman, thinks they do. He believes schools should teach children how to be articulate to put an end to the image of the 鈥済runting, monosyllabic teenager鈥 (as personified by Harry Enfield's Kevin the teenager character). Hyman says it鈥檚 the 鈥渘umber one issue for employers鈥 as there are concerns that young people 鈥渃an鈥檛 string a sentence together.鈥
