Betting shop curbs: Seven bookmakers on one block
People in Bradford, where a number of bookmakers are clustered, give their views on plans to give local authorities more power to reduce the number of outlets.
The government has announced plans for stronger powers for councils in England to scrutinise planning permission for bookmakers.
Betting shops currently sit in the same building usage category as banks and estate agents, meaning no planning permission is needed to open one.
The change will allow local authorities to analyse proposals.
