Paul Dunham: "We Did Attempt Suicide"

Paul & Sandra Dunham from Northamptonshire have told 大象传媒 Radio Northampton that they did attempt suicide rather than face extradition to the USA.

Paul Dunham, who faces extradition to America with his wife Sandra, has told 大象传媒 Radio Northampton's Breakfast Show presenter Stuart Linnell that the couple tried to take their own lives rather than face extradition to the USA. They are accused of alleged business expenses fraud but maintain their innocence. Extradition would see them jailed in a detention centre in the States for several months before a trial.

Paul Dunham called Stuart from hospital to admit their suicide attempt. Days before they were due to be extradited, Paul had told Stuart that they were seriously considering taking their own lives.
