Dr Rock looks at the life and music of singer and songwriter Neil Sedaka, ahead of his performance in York later this year. From 1950s rock and roll, through the 'hungry years' of the 1960s and his reinvention as an adult contemporary artist in the 1970s, he's written more than 500 songs with the lyricists Howard Greenfield and Phil Cody. Dr Rock will play some of his greatest compositions, performed by Neil Sedaka himself and some of the greatest artists of the 20th century.
