Much of Deborah Cadbury鈥檚 work was award winning, and from 1992 she started to win BAFTAS and Emmys for her work on Horizon. She developed a technique for 'plotting' the material she had gathered so that it became clear just how her programme was shaping up at an early stage in production. This approach clearly paid off, given the recognition by the awards bodies. It also worked well whilst Deborah faced the double challenge of bringing up a young family. One of Deborah鈥檚 films which counts amongst her favourites was Assault On The Male (1993). The Emmy award winning documentary examined decreasing male fertility, and a link with the widespread presence of endocrine disrupters in society.
