Balkan floods: ‘There was no warning’
A large international aid operation is underway in Bosnia and Serbia, following the worst flooding in the region since records began. Floodwaters have begun to recede although the authorities warn that a further peak will arrive later in the week. Adi Salkic is a British Bosnian who went to a town called Maglaj for a wedding and was trapped by the floods. He was rescued though and spoke to us from the nearby hill-top town of Tesanj.
