Tanya Byron: Pressure on children 'ruthless and endless'
Clinical psychologist Professor Tanya Byron talked to Richard Bacon about the pressures placed on children.
She said children "have more managed lives'" and are "being brought up in captivity" due to "a risk averse society" which in turn leads to a "fear of failure" and "makes them vunerable".
Professor Byron, who has 25 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, has provided advice to mums and dads on 大象传媒 television programmes Little Angels and The House of Tiny Tearaways.
This clip is from Richard Bacon on 21 May.
