Injured climber tells of 5 hour crawl to safety

A climber who fell around 70 feet down a crevasse in the Himalayas says he could have died at any moment as he made the painfully slow and precarious climb back to safety. Dr John All was collecting snow samples four days ago when he fell on the climb of Mount Himlung - near Everest. It took Dr All around 5 hours to crawl back up the crevasse - with a broken arm, broken ribs smashed knees, severe cuts and acute bruising. At the same time he managed to film himself so that his family would have a record of what happened to him. This clip is originally from Victoria Derbyshire on Friday 23 May 2014
