The Queen has opened Parliament, with a speech announcing the UK government's plans for the coming year. We debate a proposed law to make it impossible for landowners to prevent 'fracking' for natural gas under their property, Green party politician Caroline Lucas, and industry body the UK Onshore Operators Group.

Also in the Queen's speech, an anti-corruption and money laundering proposal to force firms to declare publicly who owns and controls them. Lobbying group Global Witness, which recently launched a campaign to end anonymous company ownership, gives us its verdict.
