"A new focus on the future" - those are the words of the coach of Jersey's junior surfing team which is being put through its paces ahead of the European championships in a few months.

Surfing has given Jersey the chance to be known for something, other than its finance industry, on the global stage.

After an impressive fourth place finish ahead of nations such as England and Wales in the senior competition last year, there's hope the juniors can match that.
