A mild mannered middle aged man gets a new lease of life when he discovers the joys of DIY. Inspired by a cable TV show, he is soon armed with a shiny tool box and ready to embrace his new role with the fervour of the convert. His unbounded optimism will take him on a journey of discovery. Where will it end? And how he will convince his ever-sceptical wife that he is man enough to finish what he’s started?
