Islamist militants from the group ISIS have taken over the Iraqi city of Mosul.

Islamist militants from the group ISIS - the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria - have taken over the Iraqi city of Mosul. As many as half a million people have been forced to flee because of this takeover, including troops from the Iraqi army. The Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has asked parliament to declare a state of emergency. The United States has warned that ISIS - poses a threat to the entire region. What does this mean for Iraq?
