Lawn bowls may seem like a gentle and sedate past time, but it鈥檚 actually a fiercely competitive sport and an event in its own right at the Commonwealth Games. Scotland has literally hundreds of clubs across the country and is the largest manufacturer of the actual bowl itself with a factory in Glasgow.
