Must children鈥檚 books end happily ever after? Not according to Kevin Brooks 鈥� he鈥檚 just won a prestigious children鈥檚 literature prize for his novel, the Bunker Diary, an account of a boy held hostage. He discusses his work with Lorna Bradbury, deputy literary editor for the UK newspaper the Telegraph, who has criticised the book.
