The Department for Education has given approval for the new Powership Leadership College. The six form college will be catering for up to 720 students and set to open in September 2015 in central London with up to 300 students.

Approved under the Free School programme the College says that their vision is to create a new generation of London's leaders by giving them a strong sense of ambition, drive and confidence to achieve. However is leadership the way forward, and is it important for young black people to see black successful leaders.
