A 24-hour strike by public sector workers over pay and pensions means more than 50 schools in Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset are closed or only partly open today. Targets set by district councils and the government mean around 50,000 new homes could be built in the Somerset County Council area by 2032 and we hear about a possible link between Anne Frank and Somerset.
