A year ago, millions of Egyptians took to the streets calling for President Morsi’s resignation. Days later, he was deposed by the military. Khaled Fahmy is a Professor of History at the American University in Cairo. He supported last year’s protests and the protests that ended President Mubarak’s rule. But now he feels betrayed.
