Rod Laver: '拢15 and a firm handshake' for Wimbledon win
One of the all-time tennis greats, the Australian Rod Laver, revealed his prize fund for winning at Wimbledon in the 1960s was "a 拢15 voucher and a firm handshake".
In comparison to the almost 拢2m that the winner of Wimbledon 2014 can expect to receive.
The 11 time Grand Slam winner admitted that he wishes he was playing in this era, in response to a text from a listener during 6-love-6.
