Organ donor's wife: 'To me it kept part of him alive'
Jason Brown passed away suddenly last August after a bleed on his brain. His wife Joanne and daughter Rhianna agreed to donate his organs despite other family members disagreeing with the decision. The number of organ transplants carried out in the UK has reached a new record but NHS Blood and Transplant says it's still concerned that too many families still refuse consent for their deceased relatives' organs to be donated, even when it's what they wanted.
