Clipper Round the World Race homecoming
In September 2013, twelve Gosport based yachts left London on a round the world race.
On board each were up to 20 novice sailors, many of whom had no previous sailing experience prior to taking the training programme.
Ahead of them -- over 40,000 miles and unknown adventures which would see them deprived of sleep, some would be washed overboard and all would have a lifetime of memories and friends. And some the chance to stand on the winners podium.
Before the crews set off from Den Helder in Holland for their homecoming leg, 大象传媒 Radio Solent reporter Neil Sackley boarded CV20, or "OneDLL" for the North Sea crossing.
