Teigh, Leicestershire: Thankful Villages
There’s only one village in Rutland, and three in Leicestershire, which saw all their soldiers who went off to fight in WW1 come home.
Saxby, Stretton en le Field, East Norton and Teigh are known as ‘Thankful Villages’, but did the villagers escape completely unscathed?
