Obesity advisor: Weight crisis is a 'societal problem’
The government's chief advisor on obesity says Britain's weight crisis must be tackled as a societal issue, not just a problem for a few individuals.
One in four adults are obese, costing the NHS £5.1 billion pounds a year.
Dr Susan Jebb, Professor of Diet and Population Health at Oxford University, said obesity rates were rising because of changing social habits.
