Bangladeshi PM on education and Islamism
Bangladesh’s prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, has attended an international summit in the UK focusing on girls - specifically female genital mutilation and sexual violence against women. Although the practice of female genital mutilation is not prevalent in Bangladesh, incidences of child marriage and sexual violence against girls are still big problems. Razia Iqbal asked her why these were important issues for her.
