Sir Chris Hoy: Retiring before Glasgow was 'tough'
Scottish cycling great Sir Chris Hoy says it was a "tough decision" to retire before the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The six time Olympic champion, who also won two Commonwealth golds and 11 World Championship titles, said he "would have loved" to take part but felt physically unable to.
Hoy said nothing since had matched the "intensity of emotion" he felt when competing, but believed the arrival of his first child in December 2014 could be 鈥渇ar more rewarding".
